We organized a meet-and-greet and orientation event for our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students in our department. The main goal was to help our students get to know each other better and to further develop our departmental culture together.

During the event, students were informed about how to make their university life more productive and enjoyable, as well as about the employment and career opportunities available to graduates of Biosystems Engineering. The importance of joining the Biosystems Engineering Society, established within our university, was emphasized, and the benefits of taking an active role in the society’s activities—both for personal development and for strengthening departmental belonging—were highlighted.

Our faculty members, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim BOZKURT ÇOLAK, Asst. Prof. Dr. Çağlar Özkan SEZER, and Res. Asst. Burak DALKILIÇ, also attended the event and met with our students.

As a department, we will continue to organize such gatherings that support the academic, social, and professional development of our students.
